Terms of use
1. Who we are
NDMX is sold, set up and supported by Iris Media (Egypt) and Grasshopper Media (United Arab Emirates, selling worldwide). In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean those partners. These terms apply to the NDM Academy at academy.ndmx.net (the "Academy"). By using the Academy you accept them.
2. Who may use the Academy
- People with an NDM account at a company we have opened the Academy to; and
- people from a company whose request for access we approved, up to the number of people we allow for it.
Your access is personal: do not share your sign-in or let anyone else use your session.
3. Using the Academy
Use the Academy to learn NDM, for any lawful purpose of your company. You must not misuse it, including by trying to gain unauthorised access to it, to another person's account or to any NDMX customer system; interfering with its operation; downloading, scraping or copying its lessons or pages by automated means; or sending false information when you request access or invite a colleague.
4. The lessons are ours
The lessons, videos, captions, quizzes, text and design of the Academy, and the NDMX name and logo, belong to us or our licensors. You may watch them to learn and use NDM in your company's work. You may not copy, record, download, publish, share outside your company, or use them for any other purpose, such as building another product or service, without our written permission.
The lessons are filmed on an invented demo company; its names, people and figures are fictional. Lessons are narrated with a computer-generated voice.
5. Practice companies
A practice company is a place to try things out. It starts with your company's settings and lists, or, for a company that requested access, invented ones. Enter practice records only: do not add real work, documents or personal data that is not already there. Practice companies are not backed up. Your company's administrator may reset its practice company, which removes everything entered in it; and the practice company of a company that requested access is removed after 30 days without use.
6. Your progress
The lessons you watch and your quiz results are recorded, and your company's administrators can see them. The Privacy notice explains what is recorded, who sees it and how long it is kept.
7. Your company's agreement
For people from NDM customers, the Academy is part of the NDMX service and is provided under the Customer Terms your company agreed with the selling partner, which take precedence over these terms. For people from a company that requested access, the Academy is a free trial that commits neither side to anything else.
8. No warranty
Beyond what your company's agreement with us says, the Academy is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or complete, or that a lesson matches every screen of your company's NDM.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the Academy or reliance on its content, including indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud.
10. Suspension and ending
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, to protect the Academy or other people, or when your company stops using NDM or its Academy access ends. Your access through NDM also ends when your NDM account does. In a company that requested access, its administrator may remove colleagues. When access ends, your records are deleted as section 7 of the Privacy notice sets out.
11. Changes and governing law
We may change the Academy, its lessons and these terms; a new version of these terms is published on this page. They are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The Academy is published in English and Arabic; if the two differ, the English text governs.
